Our lifestyle as beekeepers mirrors our deep-rooted love for the great outdoors. We embrace the beauty and wildness of our surroundings, fostering a harmonious relationship with the land, bees, and plants.

We are adventurers at heart, constantly exploring our unique remote environment. By deeply understanding our surroundings, we can better care for our bees and enable them to produce honey that is second to none.
Our commitment to preserving this special place is unwavering, ensuring that future generations can enjoy its wonders.
Day to day - Sustainability
As we’re working among nature each day, we do our best to tread lightly. This includes placing hives where they can be easily accessed, with no disruption to the farmland or native forest surrounding the site.
To get bees through the Winter, we feed honey kept in frames from the previous season.
We re-use beeswax for new frames going into hives.
We re-use or make what we can, reducing our impact on the environment.
Our plastic jars are made from 50% recycled materials and are themselves recyclable. The labels are paper and will naturally break down.
Our goal is to be 100% reusable or recyclable. So zero waste to the landfill.
Sustainable Guardianship
We honour our relationships with landowners that allow us to place our hives on their land. They are custodians of this remote land, and we are devoted to sustainable practices and environmental preservation while caring for our hives. Maintaining transparency and communication with landowners is the key to securing the best sites for our bees.
