Here’s our bold, fiery, and zingy recipe: King Bees Bush Honey Double-Chilli Lemon Drizzle fresh chilli heat and chilli flakes, balanced perfectly with vibrant lemon and lush, earthy sweetness of our signature Bush Honey.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons King Bees Bush Honey
2 tablespoons quality extra virgin olive oil
1 fresh red chilli, finely sliced (seeds optional, bring the heat!)
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of ½ a lemon
Sea salt flakes, generous pinch
Method:
1. Bring the Heat:
Warm olive oil gently in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add sliced fresh chilli and chilli flakes, and cook for about 1-2 minutes, stirring gently until fragrant and vibrant.
2. Sweet, Zesty Bliss:
Remove pan from heat, and whisk in Bush Honey until fully combined. Next, add lemon zest and fresh lemon juice. Stir well until glossy and beautifully balanced.
3. Season and Rest:
Add a generous pinch of sea salt flakes and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Let sit for 10 minutes, allowing all those bold, punchy flavours to harmonise.
